(1) Ensure baseplates remain flat and maintain tight contact with rail bottom surfaces. Contact area should exceed 60%, with local gaps not surpassing 1mm.
(2) For gaps exceeding 25mm between baseplate and concrete beam, fill with concrete or cement mortar. For smaller gaps (<25mm), use open-type steel shims (maximum 3 layers). Shims should match baseplate width, extending approximately 10mm beyond one edge for welding.
